Trump’s Wartime Defeat, America’s Great Losses

This latest American military bid to defeat, control and subjugate Iran, with a murderous regime-change thrown in, and supplementation of a ‘friendly and compliant regime’ like the American installed former Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, is now going to go down in the annals of American history as one of its greatest blunders, with reputational damage, none of the mission objectives achieved, and its quickest most ignoble military defeat. It is not that Iran crushed America on the battlefield, it did not have to.


Iran, by selectively inflicting acute pain on America’s and Israel’s most sensitive pressure points - the destruction of Israel’s ‘Iron Dome’ missile defences; the heavy damage of US bases in the Gulf countries; and simultaneously, the posing of existential threat to the Gulf countries themselves; and of course the controlling and shutting of the Strait of Hormuz - Iran brought the US and Israeli military might to a hapless stall, which was in every meaningful way a military defeat, as both American and Israeli superior military fire-power became essentially unusable, and the ‘enemy’ strategically in full control.
