It would be so easy to blame the villainous human aberration that is Donald Trump, and his counterpart in Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, for where we are, tottering on the brink of a global economic and geopolitical abyss.

Iran is the latest country in a long list of Israel’s targets that is experiencing the pain of being in the way of a solely dominate ‘Greater Israel’ in the Middle East. The “Greater Israel” project that has been given exclusive rights, by God no-less, according to American ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, is to have all nations in the entire area be under Israel’s complete domination.

Donald J. Trump, 47th President of the United States of America gave his annual State of the Union Address (SOTU) on February 24, 2026, and everybody interested in American, and thus global politics, was talking, discussing, and writing about it.

Over the decades, somehow, people who call themselves ‘conservatives’ have lost their way. Ideologically and politically.

The mission was simple when American’s decided to elect Donald Trump as their leader for the second time, and this time with a questionable majority of a popular vote because the first time he kinda fumbled the ball so many times that his whole first term became a proverbial ‘dog’s breakfast’.

Canada has always been the polite, quiet powerhouse that punches way above its weight geo-politically, and it is doing it again under the impressive leadership chops of its current Prime Minister, Mark Carney.

It’s been a longtime coming, but, finally the majority of Americans are realizing the mistake of electing Trump with a majority in the last election.

When push came to shove, Trump did what he has become quite well-known for, he chickened out (TACO - Trump Always Chickens Out!). Trump, over the last few weeks kept doubling down when people and nations questioned the wisdom of such a radically damaging move which would have dire consequences for Western unity and post WWII hegemony.

It’s bizarre, but the Western allies and alliances are brought to an existential crisis NOT by adversaries or enemies, but their biggest former partner and ally, the United States of America - or as it will be known from here on out, big bad America, led by a true bizarro, Donald J. Trump.

Dear readers, after the Christmas holiday season, and travelling from Toronto to Vancouver, and back, seeing one part of this vast country to the other, where everything looked relatively normal, except it was not, as during that time, the stability of the established world-order, since WWII, continued to deteriorate.

Vladimir Putin catastrophically miscalculated his invasion of Ukraine. For ‘the great strategist’, flush from his successes in seemingly restoring some of the lost greatness of Russia (former USSR), through his globally high profile military victories in Syria, and the sudden, bold and successful annexation of Crimea, the invasion and control of Ukraine seemed the proverbial ‘walk in the park’.

Of all the outrageously inappropriate and illegal actions Trump has taken as the US President, in his first and second term, and he has swamped all standards of accepted propriety, nothing has come close to penetrating his teflon-like invincibility as the deceased and America’s most notorious paedophile Jeffrey Epstein has done.
