USA and the World Held Hostage, by Israel

Almost two months ago, Israel dragged America into a full-scale war with Iran. And, even though Israel and Trump-led America had attacked Iran in the midst of supposed ‘peace negotiations’ in an act of treachery that if it had been done by another country, both Israel and America would have screamed every derogatory name for such a dishonourable act, and labelled the people dishonest, uncivilized savages, but because it was done by them, twice, it was not even given a second thought by most Israelis, and most Americans, and was accepted as necessary in their countries’ noble pursuit of disarming a dangerous and terrorist ‘nuclear Iran’.

Iran has been portrayed both as an existential threat to Israel, and the United States, and according to Trump’s hyperbolic lies, a grave threat to the world at large.

Such patently false and dishonest propaganda is only made possible and is effective by an essentially dishonest and unquestioning public in both countries, and by a hereunto a primarily uninterested and self-absorbed world population - till now that is - because, the war launched by Israel on Iran and foisted onto an ever subservient and ever war-eager America, has gone horribly wrong. 

Israel and America are the two most sophisticated, best trained, best equipped, and richest, and most powerful and dangerous countries in the world. So much so, that all of the countries of the United Nations combined, are helpless in the face of their constant flaunting of International Law, their egregious acts of unprovoked aggression and violence through clandestine assassinations, covert and overt military and economic actions, and their unashamed arm-twisting and blackmail. Plus, they are both nuclear powers with substantial nuclear inventories that would make another nuclear power afraid, let alone Iran, who over the last some 50 years has only got some level of enriched uranium, no finished bombs, not even close, and no intention of making bombs, till now maybe.

Iran has been vilified, threatened, actively economically strangled, and attacked by Israel over and over again, with its facilities bombed, its scientists, military and civilian leaders murdered and killed for decades, all under the guise of it being a grave threat. Yet in all that time, and with all the grievous provocations, Iran has not pre-emptively attacked Israel or the US at any time, only tried vainly to defend itself. And, in spite of being labelled a ‘terrorist State’ everybody is hard pressed to name a single Iranian terror group, while being able to readily name Al Qaeda and ISIS, which are both Saudi Sunni groups. Also, Iran had nothing to do with 9/11, while there were 19 Saudis in the 22 numbered attack group. Yet not a mention of Saudi, but Iran is constantly harangued as a ‘terrorist State’. But Saudi is compliant and Iran has been stubbornly defiant.

So, when they (Israel and America) decided to destroy Iran’s leadership, it’s military and civilian institutions, and its most closely monitored and physically inspected nuclear programs, just because they wanted to under the false pretence of Iran being a threat, nobody could object effectively, or god-forbid, even think of doing anything about stopping these clearly illegal acts under widely accepted International Law.

The thing is, having national leadership, capable military and civilian institutions, and even nuclear programs, are every country’s national right.

In fact, every country, of any size, has them all, without anybody objecting to them, but according to Israel and America, and to a great degree, the almost equally subservient to Israel the rest of the Western G-7 countries, including ours, Canada, only Iran cannot have any of the sovereign rights that everyone else takes for granted.

As to why this is, it is only due to Iran being an existential threat to everyone, although no one can provide any proof of Iran attacking any country - while there is plenty of evidence of it being attacked repeatedly by Iraq (as a US proxy), the US itself, and Great Britain, when they conducted covert operations against it to carry out a coup to replace the democratic Iran with a notoriously dictatorial one under the control of the US appointed ‘the Shah of Iran’. When the Iranian people chose to elect an Islamic regime instead of the draconian Shah, with his CIA installed Secret Police, the US was livid and has never forgiven Iran for electing its own government. How dare they!

AND, since then (March 1979) Iran has been consistently targeted by the US and its proxies, the other Western countries, and of course Israel. As to the label of being a terror State, this tag is as fabricated a lie as the rest of the accusations, when one realizes that Middle Eastern countries defending themselves are always the terrorists, and the aggressive colonizers always the ‘good guys’, defending themselves from the terrorized ‘terrorists’.

This double standard is so obnoxiously hypocritical that it can only be consistently maintained by the unquestioning acceptance of the general public of the two countries of Israel and the US - and to a slightly lesser extent by the rest of the Western countries. Each of which, by the way, are not only well established nuclear powers (almost all of them) but are colonizing countries, responsible for gross human subjugation, violence, genocide and naked exploitation, looting, plunder, rape and massacres, come to think of it, just like the current Israel.

So for these countries to condemn Iran almost solely, for decades, of trying to defend itself, having ambitions to grow, and prosper, have influence and power as a country, and as a people, is beyond hypocritical, as these are all acts that the accusers are most guilty of on a daily basis, and take it for granted that it is their inalienable right as sovereign nations, but not Iran’s.

As to the reasons why Israel wants Iran dead - they are getting tedious to recount over and over, but as the world in general remains stubbornly ignorant of the facts of the situation and is only too ready to believe the patently false propaganda of Israel and America, with the rest of the G-7 obediently following along, it once again bears repeating.  

The primary reason that Iran cannot be allowed to exist as an independent self-governed wealthy, influential and powerful country in that region is, because Israel cannot have it as such.

In Israel’s plans for itself, it must be the sole, most powerful, wealthy, influential and nuclear-armed nation in the entire region. No nation in the Middle-East, or in the region generally that may be sympathetic to the Palestinian people’s cause of the right to exist as a people in Palestine can be allowed to exist as an independent powerful nation. It must be subservient and weak enough for it to be of no-threat to Israel.

And while America cites these same countries as threats to itself, the entire idea is so ludicrous as to be laughable. But, that does not deter America and Israel in making these bizarre claims that these Middle-Eastern countries are existential threats to the two most powerful countries of the world, both of whom are technologically the most advanced, the most developed, and wealthy, and, are heavily nuclear-armed to the point that the next most powerful countries like Russia and China would be hesitant to challenge them, let alone attack them.

So, would Arab countries in the Middle-East really be threats? Only in the fevered dreams of despots like Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump, who lie so routinely that there is little doubt that not only they believe their own lies but have convinced enough of their populations as to make their accusations real to the people that a country like Iran that has not attacked any country, before this attack on them, and the Palestinian people who lived peacefully for centuries in Palestine with Palestinian Jews, are suddenly ‘the terrorists’.

The real invaders, the Jews from Europe, and of course America which has be attacking countries far and wide for their OIL, are the ‘peace loving’ saints that reluctantly take up the mantle of Christian crusaders riding in to  free the holy-lands of non-white locals that have no rights in their own lands, or their resources such as oil and such. For these reasons, that are blatantly self-serving, Israel, with the US’s willing participation, has destroyed country after country in the region till only Iran was left standing as an independent (not servile to US interests) nation, that Israel needs to destroy. For Israel’s greater ambitions and goals for total hegemony in the region, Iran war was declared and is being waged with Israel taking full advantage in not only destroying Iran but also expanding its control over Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon.

Israel’s need to destroy all perceived threats, pre-emptively (like the Tom Cruise movie Minority Report, where people are arrested and punished before they commit any crime), with the unquestioned backing of the full military power, unlimited money and political might of the United States, has led to the destruction of numerous countries in the region, and the deaths of tens of thousands of people, so that the tiny country of Israel, artificially inserted into Palestine, by European Jews, can feel unchallenged.

Israel’s rights to not only exist, but to constantly expand by annexing other people’s lands by force, murder, expulsion and open genocide, as in Gaza, and now in Lebanon, is unquestioned by its backers the United States and most of the Western countries.

Any protestations, let alone resistance, by these aggrieved and persecuted peoples is ruthlessly and heartlessly squashed by indiscriminate bombings, military incursions, and plain imprisonment, torture, and pure murder, even of little children. Israel’s ruthlessness and Israeli sense of superiority and sense of entitlement has grown to such an extent that it has finally shocked the world into awareness and horror filled recoil. And, though most national leaders of most countries are still careful in addressing Israel’s rampant crimes, the vast majority of the world’s populations are getting increasingly vocal about their distaste of Israel’s vile actions. 

The backlash against Israel is growing, but it still has enough leverage in the US and the Western world to keep the war going, regardless of the mounting costs to the US and the global economies. Trump has led the US into a hopeless trap at the behest of the manipulative and increasingly arrogant Netanyahu. And, nothing serves Israel’s purpose more than to have the US trapped in an endless war in the Middle East, and the world dragged along helplessly is bonus, while Israel carries out its expansion into the West Bank, and Lebanon, while destroying yet another major country in the region, Iran. For Israel’s ambitions, the US and the world have been held captive for years, and are now hostage to an intractable war that nobody but Netanyahu and Trump, and their hardliners wanted, and are the only ones promoting it as almost won even while Iran stands firm and still defiant.
