Iran War Morphs into Gulf Geo-Political Restructuring

As Trump rages that the latest Iran ‘peace proposal’ is unacceptable, nobody is surprised except perhaps Trump and his administration. The weeks of back and forth had made one thing very clear even to a casual observer, that Trump and America were not serious about negotiations, while Iran was deadly serious. So, as both sides pushed x-number-of-points-proposals, and quickly rejected them, it became clear to the observer that watching the proposals get batted back and forth between them was a neck-flexing exercise akin to watching a tennis match, with no discernible end in sight. The reason this is going nowhere is because whatever Trump and his administration can think of doing to Iran, even wanting to annihilate it, Iran before being annihilated can do such damage in retaliation that the sum total of all the possible destruction becomes unacceptable; and that is why in spite of the daily raging Trump is not making any big moves to subdue Iran or open the Strait of Hormuz.
