#224 No U.S. President in recent history is as shameless in promoting himself as Donald J. Trump. And, no previous President has as shamefully trashed his predecessors with such reprehensible language so as to make most of the civilized World cringe. He amply displayed his utter lack of social graces when announcing the American pull-out from the multi-country Iran Nuclear Deal. In his twisted mind Trump thinks that by denigrating the actions of the previous Presidents verbally, he lifts himself above them, not realizing that it is other’s place to judge him and his actions, it’s not his place; but that sort of sentiment is well beyond his rather primitive sensibilities.
As a relentless self-promoter, he went to such lengths as to pretend to be someone else to inflate himself (as to his wealth) to the media, and in that vein, Donald J. Trump has built himself and his entire life as a lie looking for opportunities to further himself regardless of the means employed. But that does not alter the reality that he is widely suspected of being a lot less wealthy than he purports to be (his reluctance to show his tax returns would seem to support that suspicion), and he is certainly not near as wealthy as too many others, that put his self-confessed business acumen & record to shame. In fact, large parts of his business life have been a shambles (multiple bankruptcies), and the recovery from near-death experience in real estate development seems to be Russian built, or at the very least, shady Russian money rescued, which a number of investigations are looking into even now.

His absurd statement at the lectern ‘I keep my promises’, when announcing the withdrawal from the Iran Deal, would be hotly disputed by former contractors and workers employed by him and not paid for their work, the partners and banks in his many bankruptcies, the students that sued him for their fees for his defunct ‘Trump University’, and his past and present wife(s). The fact that by his very action he was breaking America’s promise in the Iran Agreement, to the other partner countries and Iran, was also predictably beyond his limited understanding of commitments and promises. His penchant to lie compulsively, make all his statements suspect.

The reneging by America on the Iran Nuclear Deal, or as it is officially known, the ‘Joint Cooperation Plan of Action’ (JCPOA), was done entirely on lies.
The endless stream of invectives that Trump spewed when describing the agreement were predicated on the ridiculous assumption that he, Trump, would have been more skilled in complex, competent, prolonged and patient negotiations, than the collective abilities of the six (6) most powerful nations on Earth - the U.S., Russia, China, Great Britain, France and Germany – and Iran. That is an absurdly bold assumption from a fellow who cannot keep his focus during his daily security briefings, unless his name keeps appearing in every other sentence (according to his staff). That is even a bolder assumption considering, and self-admittedly, that Trump hates to read, and has the patience and vocabulary of a 6 year old.
Now, if Trump thinks that he has greater ability than the combined brain power of the best of America, and the best of the 5 other World powers, some of whom have ruled large parts of the World a lot longer and a lot more competently than America seems capable of doing (not just bombing everyone back into the Stone Age), and have light years worth more experience in foreign diplomacy than America does, then he is more delusional than he sounds on his worst day. And unfortunately egging him on in his folly was the wily Benjamin Netanyahu, who saw an oaf ripe for the taking in favour of anything Israel wanted, regardless of how imprudent.
Trump’s contention that Iran posed a nuclear threat to the World, in spite of the JCPOA is blatantly false. America’s intelligence agencies verify that, as do the Israeli Intelligence. And that is why Trump never consulted, nor mentioned, America’s intelligence agencies’ recommendations in taking his decision.

Equally untruthful was his alter ego Benjamin Netanyahu, who made a dramatic show of exposing Iran’s hidden nuclear agenda (and therefore their ‘Big Lie’) by fabricating an even bigger lie that Iran was being untruthful. The World, the UN and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which was responsible for doing robust inspections of the Iran Nuclear sites, along with the presence of the U.S. Intelligence, vehemently deny Netanyahu’s allegation, and ruled the information uncovered by him with such a comedic flourish, as old and well known already.
By the way, this is the same Netanyahu who insisted that Saddam Hussein of Iraq was working on developing nuclear, chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction that threatened Armageddon for Israel, the U.S. and the World. That outright lie was picked up and enhanced by the CIA and made its own by the George Bush administration, which led to the destruction of Iraq as a country, the execution of Saddam, the raiding of his palaces and the wealth of the country, the death of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians, the unleashing of horrific sectarian violence where untold more civilian Iraqis died violent deaths, and still do, and the rise of the horror of ISIS.
Not bad for a day’s work for the ever deceptive Netanyahu, and the war mongering U.S.
For the ever deceitful Netanyahu, under multiple investigations for corruption in Israel and accused of crimes by the investigating Israeli police, Trump was the dream U.S. President. In Trump he has a partner in crime so to speak. Both are under active investigations in their respective countries and the mounting evidence of wrong-doing keeps – well, mounting.
Both Netanyahu and Trump are not above bald-faced lying to their own citizens and the World. They do it almost on a daily basis. Both are unethical, immoral and lack a conscience towards doing the wrong thing as a means to gain their own end, regardless of the cost to innocent others. Both are inherently racists and will only back down when pushed back by public outrage or active push-back from Courts and Institutions. Both show an irrational and ignorant negative bias towards the Muslim World, casting it all in the light of extremist behaviour, even though it being a fraction of the entire population, while turning a wilfully blind eye to the extremism in themselves and their own citizens, which they don’t care to even acknowledge let alone purposefully address. Both are kept in political power by the conservative minority, radical and therefore the most racist elements of their population, who revel in their biased lawlessness.
Everything that Netanyahu and Trump have said about the JCPOA (Iran Nuclear Deal) is false. The JCPOA is the single greatest successful co-operative diplomatic initiative among six (6) of the World’s foremost powers, plus the United Nations as an Institution - and Iran, in recent history. Those who say it was flawed and didn’t go far enough, wasn’t perfect, didn’t hog-tie Iran enough, wasn’t tough enough, and so on, are the very people who have neither the skill, the understanding, nor the diplomatic wherewithal, nor the intelligence, or the patience to even contemplate such an undertaking, let alone actually accomplish it.
These are the very people who have no intention of being just, fair, conciliatory or diplomatic, but love to rely on their superior military power to enforce their unjust designs and intentions.
Both Netanyahu and Trump are such men, and Barack Obama was not. That is why both Netanyahu and Trump hate him so much. In their eyes, Obama’s greater intellectual prowess, his natural charm and abilities, and his incredible achievements in salvaging the American and global financial system post 2008 crisis, and thus saving the global economy, his strides towards environment protection, his efforts towards advancing a more fair and just society, his opening up to Cuba, and his singular achievement in helping negotiate the JCPOA, made him the most hated man by megalomaniacs and the false dictatorial ‘people’s leaders’, and of course Trump.
Trump has worked tirelessly, in every way, with the enthusiastic help of the Republican Party, to undo all the good Obama did: in somewhat levelling the playing field for the ordinary American through consumer protection and more affordable health care; in protecting the environment; and preferring diplomacy rather than the hawkish Republican choice of the use of the famed and destructive ‘America’s Big Stick’. Obama wound down the atrocious and costly wars started by his predecessor, refrained from attacking countries in new wars, and brought a peaceful solution to the Iran Nuclear Program with the participation of Russia, China, France, Great Britain, Germany, the U.N., and of course Iran. It is an accomplishment that the famously attention deficit prone Trump, and the ever deceitful Netanyahu, could not even contemplate. So of course they had to destroy it, with Big Lies.
