America's Fascism Is Now The Fashion, Calling It Out Is Verboten!! (e.g. Charlie Kirk)

It’s a fact, almost 80 years to the month - the end of World War II - fascism was decisively defeated around the world at a horrendous cost of an estimated 50 to 85 million people dead, mostly civilians, and the most of civilian deaths were in Russia and China. That recent history of the destruction of fascist Germany, Italy and Japan, shows that authoritarian regimes built on hyper-nationalism, bring about, eventually, the greatest death, destruction and misery to the very people who most avidly embraced their autocratic messiahs and false prophets; and guess what Hitler, Mussolini, and the Japanese leaders promised their people? To make them and their nations great again.
What they got was terror and wide-spread destruction! In Russia and China, before and after the Second World War, under the brutal authoritarian leaders, Joseph Stalin and Mao Zedong, it is estimated that up to 7 million Russian people were killed by Stalin’s purges, executions, imprisonments in gulags, and famines. In China, up to an estimated 50 million Chinese people died during Mao Zedong’s revolution (The Great Leap Forward).
The promise of both of those leaders to their people was to liberate them from the ‘Elites’, and make them free and great again. What the people got instead was terrorizing brutality and mass death.
Today, while a number of so called democratic countries, Russia, Israel, Hungry, India, the United States of America, and others, are really autocracies in disguise. Of all of these, the United States is doing the most damage globally, because of its post World War II position as the lead democratic Super-power, protecting and promoting democracy.
Unfortunately, in the last election, the Americans chose a leader with a ‘Dictator-complex’, who has turned America into a drag on all global democracies, and an aid to the world’s autocracies.
On that authoritarian journey, America, within months of Trump's take-over, became a Rogue Nation. Led by an impossibly narcissistic leader with an insatiable appetite for self-aggrandizement, and a depth-less black-hole where a human soul normally would reside, Trump has not only resurrected the destroyed and dormant evil spirit of fascism in the United States, but across the world, by giving it legitimacy in the post WWII mostly democratically led global order. America now, the gullible, the ignorant and the nasty (to use one of Trump’s favourite words) spouts and practices fascist ideologies.
The world, in just 80 years after the insanity of the world’s greatest war, with its insanely hubristic, strutting, dangerously narcissistic leaders, is now back firmly ‘on the road to perdition’.
The sacrifice of 50 to 85 million people in the Second World War, to free all people from tyranny, is held in utter contempt by a man that ducked the call-of-duty to serve by claiming ‘bone-spurs’ in his heels, but whose depth of depravity extends to insulting the fallen war heroes who suffered, and died, sacrificing their lives to destroy the enslaving tyranny of fascism, Trump publicly scorns them by calling them all ‘losers’!
He holds in contempt real self-sacrificing heroism, in the way only a cringing coward can, by insulting them.
Regarding Trump’s leadership to date, the big questions that arise are: Is America better off? and, Is this a better world because of Trump, and the rise of fascism?
In our opinion the unequivocal answer based on reality is an emphatic NO! The reasons being:
Since Trump's shockingly improbable re-election (he is a US Court convicted felon and a sexual abuser, after all), a re-election which ‘the Left’ did not question or contest (being sane and democratic after all), there has been the Trump generated, ever increasing, global economic chaos with re-emerging inflation and retreating GDP growth.
He has significantly damaged the American and the global economies.
Since Trump took office, there is increasing geopolitical turmoil that is more dangerous than the usual lesser level of turmoil that was ever present.
In the Ukraine/Russia war, Putin was increasingly, albeit incrementally, resisted under Joe Biden’s administration. Now, with Trump in the White House, Putin is further unleashed as Trump has gone out of his way to help his special pal Putin by lifting sanctions against Russia, while hampering aid to Ukraine. Similarly, the criminally ruthless Netanyahu and his extremist Israeli cabinet now feel totally unfettered; even more so than under complicit Joe Biden, to unlawfully expand their atrocities in Gaza, and to now include the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. Israel today is ecstatic, they ‘have a friend’ (not in Jesus), but in the more materially useful, soulless, and equally power and land hungry President, Donald J. Trump.
Apart from disrupting and seriously damaging global trade (the negative impact of which the American economy is just starting to feel), Trump has shattered the strongest relationships and alliances the United States had with its allies, and as mentioned before, emboldened America’s foes by his sheer ambivalence.
Authoritarian leaders of powerful dangerous regimes are now far more emboldened than ever before, because the fear of the more powerful democratic USA has been replaced by the confidence of having a fascist friend, a would-be Dictator, a man who-would-be-King, as an ally - or at the most a ditherer who will not endanger them but will bomb the less consequential and the significantly less powerful, like Yemen and Iran.
They see Trump and his team of incompetent morons actively dismantling the democratic institutions of a once (at least internally) rules-based United States, into a lawless global pariah, not trusted by its allies, and no longer feared by its enemies.
No, Trump is not making America Great Again, but is making it increasingly inconsequential.
The man is a wreaking-ball to America, and everything that made America great in the time before Trump. He is a laughable clown to the outside world, tolerated by America’s closest allies, and mocked by America’s adversaries; and lest we forget, America is embarrassingly exploited and made a fool of, by one of the smallest nations on Earth, with the tightest grip on America’s family jewels, good-ole Zionist Israel.
Israel has been so successful in having America do its bidding unquestioningly (to be fair, well before Trump), but now even more so, that it’s scaring the largest diaspora of Jews outside of Israel, the Jews in America.
More and more Jews, both inside Israel and outside of it, are realizing that the shameless, unapologetic, horrific actions of Israel, in Gaza, West Bank, and the greater Middle East, are building a global wave of resentment, horror and rage, at its indisputably illegal and internationally condemned inhumane and criminal actions, including the continuing greatest modern-day genocide in the world, in Gaza, which is putting all Jews in jeopardy once again, the conditions of which they all felt they had been put permanently in the past.
Now, an unapologetic and incredibly hubristic and unlawful Israel is an internationally despised pariah. For decades Israel has been operating with total impunity in spite of countless United Nations resolutions against it, because of its perfect partner, the unquestioning, equally internationally law-breaking perpetual war-machine, the often unlawful United States.
In condemning fascism, one is forced to ask its defenders in the United States, if they can name any country in the world under fascist, autocratic rule, that has enjoyed greater individual freedom, free speech, justice, cultural and economic growth, and the general prosperity of its citizens, than the United States of America had the past 100 years?
We are hard pressed to think of a single one that over-all did better than the old democratic United States of America.
Under an increasingly autocratic Trump, the United States of America has already lost much of its individual freedoms.
Being picked up on the streets, from inside their homes and work places (without legal due process) does not quite constitute freedom; additionally, free speech is being systematically shut down, if Trump doesn’t approve of it. Companies, organizations, institutions, courts, etc., are threatened - be submissive or else.
One could go on but what’s the point? It’s all right there for all to see, and if some don’t see it, then they are on the side - for greater control, because they are fascists in the old fashioned way, from 80 years ago.
This resurgence of aggressive fascism may just be a turn of the cosmic cycle when after over seventy-plus years of relative peace and proven global prosperity, the turn back to violence and authoritarianism was perhaps cosmically ordained. Because, if it was not, then it can only mean that the humanity has hit a speed-bump in its evolution, and is now quickly and regressively moving backwards towards the darker times of global wars, increasing poverty, dangerous diseases, and greater global human and natural disasters ad suffering.
If this American turn towards ‘conservative fascism’ is not cosmically ordained, then the current behaviour of America’s Right is quite understandable as it all played out in the decades of the early and mid 20th Century which had two of the greatest wars in human history take place.
The play is increasing vocal and violent belligerence towards anyone who does not kowtow to 'the Great Leader' and his unlawful behaviour. As Trump tightens total control, the Right rejoices and the Left despairs.
All protestations of the Left questioning Trump’s excesses are dismissed as unpatriotic (just listen to Karoline Levitt), with not a thought or explanation given as to why the President is taking unconstitutional actions that are systematically dismantling and destroying America’s democratic principles and institutions.
The White House just denies everything unlawful or objectionable shamelessly, and justifies everything else as the President being unquestionably infallible.
The base, including its largest, radically inaccurate ‘news’ voice, Fox News, amongst the other lesser but equally inaccurate voices, go a lot further, they actually ferment discord, hate and violence; case in point being the recent assassination of Charlie Kirk.
While the Left generally (particularly its political leaders past and present), expressed appropriate regret and remorse for the senseless killing of Charlie Kirk, and called for actions to lessen the chances of such violent political extremism, the Right, led openly by Trump, generally, went in the opposite direction, and announced the total destruction of the Left through an all-out war!
Trump, even when encouraged by a Fox News host, to tone the rhetoric down to ‘try and bring the country together’ at such a time, openly, publicly, proudly refused, and doubled down, in blaming the ‘radical Left’, without acknowledging the danger of the ‘extremist Right’ which has been flagged by American intelligence agencies as the greatest internal danger. And, in spite all numbers proving it emphatically that shooters in America targeting Americans, and American school children, come predominantly from the ‘white’ and ‘Right’, the President kept insisting it is the ‘lunatic Left’ that was the one and only existential problem.
This was after the shooter turned out to be white, male, and from a Republican family, that loved guns!
In the face of direct evidence that the shooter was not from the Left, but was more of the white-Right, guns-loving type, even then Trump refused to be Presidential, and act as a responsible national leader, but proudly showed what he really is, a conflict loving, division fostering ideological fascist.
Does that accusatory shoe fit Trump? Well lets see -
Meaning of Fascism:
A fascist is a person who supports fascism, an authoritarian political system characterized by a central dictatorial government, extreme nationalism, and suppression of opposition, often through violence.
Does Trump support fascism? He loves and admires Putin, Kim Jong-un, Xi Jinping, Viktor Orban, Jair Bolsonaro, etc., and dislikes democratic leaders, and democracy with fair elections. So that is a yes!
Is he consolidating power to himself? Centralizing it? It’s a definitive yes!
Is he for ‘Extreme Nationalism’? Well yes!! - ‘America First’, ‘Make America Great Again’...!
Does he suppress opposition, often through violence? Yes!! January 6th 2021!! Additionally, he wants to destroy opposition, threatens jail-time for his opponents, promotes physical violence very often, want’s to destroy the ‘radical Left’, (Trump said so publicly on Fox News).
According to the definition of Fascism, the shoe fits Trump’s both swollen feet, to a tee!
Yet, it is verboten to say it in America, as if by not saying it, it will change him into an honest democrat.
Trump not only admires and loves authoritarian leaders publicly, he loves playing the big tough guy, calling out the opposition, stirring up trouble, and violence, and typically for an insecure bullying type, he expects others to do all his dirty work, while he plays the 'Great Leader'.
The guy, who admires winning so much and plays the warrior from behind the desk, gets his kicks from denigrating the real warriors who have gone to real battlefields and survived, or died, without all his bullshit parades, grandstanding, and empty warrior talk. (As someone put it - ‘Cadet Bone Spurs’)
In watching America in the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s shooting one cannot help but notice that the moderates and lefties are so careful in choosing the appropriate words to indicate their dismay at yet more bloodshed in their ever-violent country, where gun-violence and school-shootings are an almost daily occurrence - even acceptable to division and guns-promoting Charlie Kirk.
From Trump’s and Kirk’s far-right side of the world, the word ‘restraint’ in divisive speech and action is a rare kind of cancer afflicting only a minuscule number of Republicans and right-wingers, the Trump proclaimed RINOs; and woe to any right-winger who thinks unity of purpose with left-wingers may actually be beneficial to all Americans and America. Any and almost all Republican law-makers, even some of the most senior ones, had to quit and retire from their posts because of Trump’s intolerance for bipartisan efforts or views.
In addition to purging the Republican ranks of ‘disloyal’ members (fascism), Trump and his openly fascist minions, purged all levels of governments and public institutions, to have only yes-men and yes-women and total sycophants around. The open means-and-methods of consolidating power to the center, is so Stalinist that one does not have to be a student of history to recognize the playbook.
And yet, all others have to sooo careful not to say it.
To the ‘real’ Trump-Republicans, regulations and restrictions of any kind, including of hate-stirring speech and unrestricted dangerous gun-proliferation, race-ideological-profiling and baiting, and the inevitable hate, division, turmoil, vote-suppressing, and even the resulting annual deaths, and gun profits, is ideological blasphemy; while unrestrained political and social verbal and physical violence are, in the words of Charlie Kirk: ‘worth it’.
In this dangerous environment of bubbling civil-war in Trump’s America, when the Left has to be subdued and restrained, and the Right sobs tearfully with grief, mixed with unapologetic false accusations of leftist-violence, and thrills to the underlying glee in the prospects of open ‘War’ with the ‘evil’ Democrats, who need to be ALL eliminated according to some right-wingers (openly and on record, in public) - with Trump actively fanning the flames of hatred, division and violence, daily, the only hope for America is that he is old and his time is limited.
If America survives till then, it may remain intact, otherwise at this rate, with Trump's-Right-Wing-Project 2025, it will rupture and fracture into the White-Supremacist-Confederacy, and the Progressive-Democracy at full war. The Right is confident who will win that war - according to them the Right, because ‘they have all the guns’. Whatever emerges from this serious flirtation with 'Project-Fascism', it certainly will not be ‘America the Great’.
